Dance and Somatics, continuously oscillating between practice, theory, improvisation, and play. The body as a field of inquiry and research, embodiment, and fierce physicality.

Let’s consider our joints as the unofficial centers of the body. Joints are places of power, strength, and fluidity. On average, we have 206 bones and 360 joints, and ALL joints are fluid reservoirs. Therefore, every movement is created on water. Every movement. Feel it while you read this.

In this 3-hour workshop, we’ll play with the idea that our joints are centers of the body—not the brain, heart, gut, or bones. Through sensation, curiosity, and somatized imagination, we’ll enter a whirlwind of fluid communication.

We rise and fall, flip and flop, flowing like fish through a river of movement. We relate, play, and dance spatially, becoming big beings. Together, we discover new possibilities for moving and allowing ourselves to be moved.
