YES! Dancing over the NEW YEARโS! ๐
December 31 โ January 3
What could be more appealing to people who want to move their bodies in relationship to others?
These four days are curated as a crossing-over into 2027โwith classes, shakes, scores, and JAMS that hold the whole fest together. Weโll bring back the CI Mosh, and on New Yearโs Eve you can dance โtil you drop with a LIVE BAND!
With Arunimรก McNeish, Delia Brett, Elijah Lee, Eric Mulhern, Francesca Frewer, Kurt Koegel, Nita Little, Serge Gubelman, and surprise guests. (The facilitators and musicians are listed alphabetically, because we like the idea of entering this fest as a constellation rather than a hierarchy.)
The theme for the fest is: BONES THAT RESONATE โ CURRENTS THAT CARRY
This theme will weave through the entire event, with each teacher bringing their own interpretation of it into their class offering. Four days of moving, listening, resonating, shaking, dancing, and being carried by the currents of a community in motion.
Letโs cross over into 2027 together. โจ
Please scroll down for the schedule. We are committed to creating a welcoming, safe-enough space while also inviting the experimental nature of a radical community process.

Sessions descriptions:
* ๐ง What is a Group Shake? A Group Shake is a durational collective somatic event. We shake, to music {most of the time}, together for a duration with the emphasis on shaking and rocking the body in various ways. It can look like dancing but we don't have to be concerned with appearance, skill or rhythm. Group and individual ecstatic and meditative states can be achieved [but may not be]. Shaking is a simple and individual task-based practice without explicit goals but also beneficial for circulation, nervous system and systemic health. Shaking takes many formats in cultures around the globe, across lifeforms, and to the subatomic level. Shaking is one of the body's natural impulses to relieve tension.
** ๐คโค๏ธโ๐ฅ๐ค CI Mosh: Grounding Into Chaos: through Ecstatic Mosh, we will collectively explore how we can build sovereignty by remaining open to being moved; how our exuberance is a gift; how we can cultivate a rich and resilient collective field in group dance. We will welcome the entirety of our beings: the grief with the joy, the rage with the laughter. We will thrash
